Brian Peters is a singer and musician who performs traditional folk music, and has toured regularly and internationally for over thirty years as a professional. Brian is one of the country’s foremost squeezebox players on concertina and button accordion, and also an accomplished acoustic guitarist and banjo player. His repertoire is mostly English folk, but he also performs Appalachian music and blues accordion. Brian has played many major folk festivals in Britain, toured regularly in the USA, and performed four times at the Australian National Folk Festival. He is also an expert on folk music history, researching a project on the songs of Peterloo, and fronting educational presentations at venues from Glossop Guild to Appalachian mountain summer schools and the Library of Congress in Washington DC.
