Hyssop is a Modern British ‘small plates’ restaurant, specialising in seasonal and local produce. Hyssop started out as a Pop-Up Restaurant in March 2018, and in the same year, were shortlisted for a Manchester Food and Drink Festival (MFDF) award in the 'Pop Up category, before finally finding their home on Glossop’s High Street.
Hyssop is owned by friends Paul Sykes, Jess Hine and William Webb, who between them have years of experience within the hospitality industry. Their passion and admiration for exquisite food has driven them to be able to open a restaurant and they are so grateful to be able to offer an approachable, relaxed atmosphere, offering local, seasonal ingredients prepared with attention to detail and focus on flavour.
