A message from Glossop author, Mark Henderson:

As a spin-off from the first Glossop BookFest held on 25th March 2023, I'd like to offer a series of six two-hour novel-writing workshops in Glossop this autumn. Dates and venue(s) to be decided on the basis of participants' preferences. Writers with all levels of experience - including none - will be welcome, irrespective of the genre(s) of books they're writing or planning to write.

The objective of the workshops is to share the knowledge and skills I've acquired over the past two decades with other writers. Among my books, released by five different publishing houses over the years, are six assorted novels; or to be pedantic, five assorted novels and a crazy novella. I've learned a lot from this experience of writing and dealing with publishers and I'd like to use it to help other writers before I become too old and doddery.

The proposed price for the series will be £60.
