The 12 week acting program starts 8pm on 7th of March at The Place, Glossopdale Community college.

‍

The course will cover the art, technique and business of acting for stage and screen with a focus on confidence building, health and well-being.    

‍

We will look at the audition process and the technical aspects of being on set and acting for camera with guest tutor Jonathon Eckersley who is a professional Director and 1st Assistant Director for television and film. Jonathon has worked on a wide range of projects from Line of Duty, Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and most recently the BBCs multi million pound His Dark Materials and the new Railway Children movie.

Alongside regular monologue and improvisation work I will share my experience of actually doing the job over the last 30 years on film and television sets and number one theatre tours.

‍

We will be doing a live theatre performance to conclude the 12 weeks.
