We aim to develop an inclusive platform for creative writers and illustrators of all ages and abilities, professional and amateur, in Glossopdale and its neighbourhood. We provide opportunities for poets, playwrights, novelists, short story writers and illustrators in all media to engage with and offer their work to the public by oral presentation and/or for sale, with a view to promoting literacy and education within the community and forging connections among individuals to the benefit of their well-being and mental health. We are keen to encourage creativity among children, for example through story-writing competitions for various age groups, through storytelling/other creative writing activities and by providing opportunities for young illustrators to express and display their talents.
