FAQ's

Is this an acting course?

No. We are just actors who want to create a space for us to be free to explore our craft, and play in an environment which will help develop our skills and bring together actors across the High Peak.

Is this for anyone?

You will need to be over 18 to participate, but Glossop Actors' Forum is open to enthusiastic actors of every kind. We welcome all different ages, experience levels, and perspectives - and we are all richer for it.

Do I have to pay?

We're initially asking fro £3 per session, but if this is prohibitive for you, please get in touch and we will endeavour to accommodate your situation. This is not a money making enterprise.

Will I feel safe to express myself without judgement?

All participating actors will be asked to read, sign, and abide by The Actors' Agreement, which sets out our expected standards of behaviour. Criticisms will only be constructive, to help develop you as an actor, and personal boundaries will be respected.

Will there be performances?

Not directly, though of course we'd support any actors wishing to perform in public.
