Glossop Creates: Spring Creative Network Meeting
We're thrilled to announce that our Networks are back up and running, thanks to funding from The University of Derby. And we'd like to run a show and tell for our Local Creatives! Bring an artwork, design, piece of music, instrument or anything to display or show others as a conversation starter or platform for your work. Don't want to do that? That's OK, just bring yourself!
During the meeting we'll hear from:
- Carys Kaiser speaking about her experience in putting on the first ever Dark Peak Photo Festival
- Evie O'Connor on her Train Station Residency
- We'll introduce you to Joanne Blunt, Arts, Culture & Heritage Officer at High Peak Borough Council and how her role is supporting the local creative ecology.
- A presentation from Alison Foote
- And we'll hear from Sonja Quirk fro Friends of Victoria Hall about future plans for the Hall and how Glossop Creates is involved...
Please register here for free, so we have an idea of numbers on the evening.
If you would like to present, share or announce anything at the event, please do get in touch with us at hello@glossopcreates.com.
Similarly, if you'd like to perform for the network (particularly musicians or theatrical performers) then contact us!
